Job Description

Planning Center

  • Master and set up necessary templates and databases for Planning Center.

  • Train employees, directors and volunteers to use Planning Center Services

  • (The goal is to have Services be the central tool in coordinating Sunday morning ministries.)

Journey App

  • Create a phone application for Journey Church Ministries using Ministry Brands or Planning Center tools and templates

    • Ideally, the application should have functionality for announcements, communication, giving and possibly videos of Sunday services.

    • Promote app.

    • Train Staff to update the application as needed.

    • Website work (again with Ministry Brands or Planning Center tools and templates) will also be necessary during this process.

Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Expectations:

  • This temporary position spans thirty hours per week for twelve weeks. 

  • Candidates must be very comfortable with technology and mobile devices.

  • A familiarity with existing Journey Church systems and leaders is very helpful. 

  • Attend Staff meetings as the schedule allows.

  • Report to designated supervisor regularly.

  • Personal conduct must be congruent with that of a JCM partner and employee.
